AquaLoop Seed Money Project​ Cross-border workshop​ will take place on 05/06.10.2022, in Rostock, Germany and is combined with a study tour to Förde Garnelen aquaculture facility.

Workshop agenda

The objective of the workshop corresponds to the idea (and objective) behind the project, namely:​

  • to successfully serve the needs of the sustainable waste management by aquaculture farms in South Baltic region,​
  • increase innovation and sustainability potential through transfer of knowledge and know-how, and​
  • raise awareness on the added value products​

The aim is to discuss possibilities concerning the containment of the nutrient loop within aquaculture facilities, with an emphasis on innovative aquaculture systems, to define challenges and objectives, strategy, discuss consortia member profiles, project activities, tasks and responsibilities, deliverables, outputs, results and indicators of a potential full Interreg SB AquaLoop project application​

Organizers: University of Rostock (DE) – Host with cooperation of AquaLoop Seed Money project partners: University of Gdańsk (PL), Klaipeda University (LT), Guldborgsund Municipality (DK)​

Participants: AquaLoop Seed Money Project partners, potential partners/associated partners/stakeholders for the Regular AquaLoop Project (possible on-line participation if on-site not possible).
