AquaVIP at the Science and Education for Sustainable Development Conference

Science and Education for Sustainable Development Conference took part on 24/11-25/11 at the University of Gdansk as the first international conference organised by the newly established Centre for Sustainable Development of UG.

More than 200 guests from Polish and foreign research centres, including partners from the SEA-EU alliance and other European universities including representatives from Malta, Spain, Ireland, Finland, Norway, Italy, Slovakia and Lithuania came to the University of Gdansk to participate in the conference.

Meeting in such a large group was an excellent opportunity to present research results, exchange experiences and integrate wiyh the scientific community dealing with sustainable development in various aspects. As AquaVIP project partners we took the opportunity to share our experince in sustainable research and eduaction in the areas of blue bioeconomy. Hanna Ladkowska presented activities focused on blue bioeconomy development through INTERREG Baltic Region and INTERREG South Baltic projects including AquaVIP.
