On May 24th AquaVIP Career panel: Aquaculture in the South Baltic region – research, education, internship and job opportunities was held in Gdynia, bringing together AquaVIP partners and aquaculture students of the University of Gdańsk. The event was organized by the AquaVIP partner – University of Gdańsk.
During the panel, AquaVIP partners from Lithuania, Germany, and Poland presented the results of the AquaVIP experimental work, and educational activities, as well as a thorough offer including study programs, internships and job opportunities of their universities and cooperating companies to the 3rd year students of aquaculture, master students of oceanography and PhD students.
Students on the other hand shared their experience with AquaVIP, and their successful path in combining their studies, pursue a scientific degree, engage in internships and work in innovative companies during a pitching session awarded with certificates. And a panel discussion on the future of the young generation and aquaculture followed.
